Big Bang Studio is an intellectual endeavor focused on research and the design of the built environment. Big Bang Studio works in three tiers: research, support of your research and design, and design practice. Big Bang Studio’s experience runs the gamut of sustainability, travel behavior, public art administration, architecture design and urban policy.
RESEARCH
Your Research Topics can be developed through customized plan and sessions. You will be provided with a summary and list of the latest research in the field of your inquiry.
Long term Research Projects can be developed for you through a custom plan. Research support can also be provided for your ongoing research projects in a temporary or continuing capacity.
Research Strategy and Analysis can be provided to give you the path to research your own interests by advising on appropriate research methods, tools and data sources. Big Bang Studio can also professionally analyze, digest and publish your research.
Custom seminars and training can be provided for you individually, your friends or your company. These can be individual sessions or a short course.
Architecture and Urban Design
Big Bang Studio specializes in space planning, master planning, place making and urban design centered on creative new ideas, ecology and sustainability.
Design Review for your design, architecture or art projects. Your projects can be in any stage and can be practical or conceptual. A timely review of your project and a short report and sketches will be provided and if applicable with a summary of your project’s strengths, weaknesses and next steps.
Design Guidance is a more in-depth form of design review that includes case studies, best practices and if desired design standards for your project. A report of visual identity will be provided based on the strengths of your project. The length of the design guidance book depends on your needs.
Concept, Mission and Vision can be developed for your projects or firms.
Design Development can take your project further independently, including the initial design work, with as little or much input as you would like.
Project Support can temporarily be provided to you or your firm during your peak times in architecture, design or urban planning.
Custom plans for research and design services are developed with you including deliverables and final reports based on your goals. Individual sessions, including design reviews start at $150 per hour and long-term research projects start at approximately $10,000 with educational courses starting at approximately $6,000 for six three-hour sessions.
